Histopathological examination of the haematoxylin-eosin stained specimen. The starry-sky appearance (upper, 10X) comprised sheets of immunoblast-like cells, with a few notable plasmablast-like cells in between, and interspersed tangible body macrophages (lower left, 20X and right, 40X). Abnormal mitotic figures were frequently seen (lower right, 40X).
